New Orleans based artist Matt Rinard's irrepressible take on the world of domestic felines and canines is fast gaining an international following. In his comical world view, dogs and cats live lives far more interesting than we ever imagined. We'll never look at our beloved pets the same way again!
Rinard has created exclusive clothing lines for Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales, and he has been the official artist of the Sugar Bowl and the Gronau Jazz Festival in Germany.
Rinard is the long-time official artist of the Mystic Krewe of Barkus, the only New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewe "for and by the canine population". United by such themes as "Jurassic Bark", "Tails from the Crypt", "Joan of Bark" and "Lifestyles of the Bitch and Famous", thousands of costumed Barkus dogs and their human escorts have raised tens of thousands of dollars for animal welfare charities since 1994. Rinard's annual theme posters and apparel are a key element of the fundraising, and are cherished by collectors the world over.

Matt Rinard's fine art lithographs are printed, one colour at a time, on a French Voirin press dating back to 1870. The quality of the press, together with the highly pigmented inks and the 300lb archival rag paper, result in an extremely vibrant image of the highest possible quality. Each is hand-numbered and signed by the artist.
